The Historic Tamarack Lodge has a beautifully appointed
Lodge Room located on the upper floor.

The Historic Tamarack Lodge was built in 1907, moved to its current location in 1948 and completely renovated in 2003. The Lodge is 3,400 square feet of pure hospitality nestled in a mountain valley near a blue-ribbon trout stream and minutes away from the Glacier National Park.

Come enjoy the warmth of Montana hospitality in true Big Sky fashion. At the Historic Tamarack Lodge & Cabins, you'll experience rustic charm, lodge pole pine architecture, and a huge natural stone fireplace alongside the hospitality of your welcoming hosts.

We are stocked with the latest brochures, pamphlets, maps and informational guides covering both the local and surrounding region.

Plan your own trip, let us assist with arrangements for that perfect outing, or simply curl up by the fire and relax, enjoying some reading from our Library of over 100 books. Lodge front desk provides premium service and can also provide information on our property, Glacier National Park, and the entire surrounding area. Wind down your night with some more outdoor fun. Play horse shoes, volleyball, and badminton before you settle down around the fire pit and roast some marshmallows.

Anytime of the year step out on the porch and view the sunset, the stars or the breathtaking beauty of the Montana sky. After a peaceful nights rest, awaken to a complimentary continental breakfast.  Dine in the sun room or in front of the fire.

We'll make sure you're comfortable, so you can focus on the more important things such as visiting Glacier National Park with friends, spending time with your family or just relaxing. Come and experience the true authentic West, the way Montana was meant to be enjoyed!
