Please come meet the staff of the Historic Tamarack Lodge & Cabins. Doug is a graduate of Concordia University in Minnesota and has traveled extensively throughout the world as a United States Marine as well as a successful business executive for Honeywell and Dialight Corporations. Starting out life as a wrangler in the Colorado Rocky Mountains he has come back to his roots by owning the lodge. Doug has hiked most of his life throughout Colorado, Washington State, California, Idaho and Wyoming. "I enjoy meeting our guests, the local business owners and creating new relationships. I am excited to provide a positive experience for all of our guests. With the beautiful lodge pole design, the historic lodge in itself provides a wonderful and unique experience. When coupled with our outstanding staff we provide a positive memorible experience." Seth, Doug's son has relocated to Montana. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, snowmobiler, hiker and all round outdoor guy! Seth brings a unique perspective to the lodge. His passion for the outdoors and everything that wilderness of Montana can offer is refreshing. Seth works with the entire staff and is comfortable handling any and all tasks that the business requires. Clint is a life-long resident of the Glacier Park area. Clint oversees all operations and is fully responsible for the grounds and maintenance. Clint was hired in September 2005. In addition to his normal duties Clint was also hired for his local knowledge of the area. A successful fly fisherman, hunter, and snowmobile guide. Clint brings a valuable flavor of local Montana to the lodge. He has been a guest favorite for many years. Michelle and Dawn are our lead housekeepers. They run a tight ship and ensure our staff of housekeepers are top notch and value the need for extra clean rooms. Their dedication to duty and guest satisfaction is key to the sucsess of the Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins. Ashley comes to us from Minnestoa. She is the daughter of two of Doug's life long friends. She is working on her accounting degree during the school months and manages our administrative and guest reception. Ashley's attention to details and warm greetings are a nice touch to anyone's vacation. They, along with our entire staff are here to assist you and your family to provide you with memories of a lifetime.
